Hi, I’m Geertje and I am an artist based in the Netherlands.

Originally, I started with just a graphite pencil and paper, drawing portraits of people online and offline. While I still enjoy the simplicity of this medium, I’ve since then been experimenting with different materials and styles — an endless journey I’m sure.

Lately I’ve been working a lot with charcoal and pastels, but I enjoy using a wide variety of materials, often within one work, sometimes combining it in a digital collage.
